In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus says, "... All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." We read in the Gospels that wherever Jesus went, He healed the sick and delivered the demon-possessed. It is the same today.
The pastor of the Spring of Life Church & Ministries, Kevork Tchaparian, visited Jaffna, Sri Lanka, for two healing services which were held on the 5th and 6th of March 2011 at the Prayer House Church. Many were healed and delivered during the two services and the Lord's name was lifted up high!
On the first day, there were 300 people present and around 5 people were healed, while on the second day, there were about 500 people present and around 10 people were healed and delivered. In addition, on the second day, more than 70 people received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
The Lord is alive and living. He wants to touch people's lives even today. He does miracles wherever He goes. He needs us, believers, as human vessels of the Holy Spirit, to take Him to the people who are in need. In Acts 5:16, we read, "Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and ALL of them were healed."
